About
Nataliia Tofteland is a self-taught Ukrainian American artist based in Minnesota. Her mother, a Ukrainian painter, introduced her to the world of art at a young age, instilling an appreciation for Mother Nature’s artistic expression.
She honed her artist’s eye while living and working in Yellowstone National Park in the American Rocky Mountains. Nataliia’s work is a direct expression of her explorations in this awe-inspiring environment, where every corner reveals nature’s ever-evolving beauty. The natural world continues to be her muse, offering both inspiration and insight into its deep, unspoken wisdom.
Nataliia is inspired by the brushwork of her mother, as well as the influences of Monet, Van Gogh, and other Impressionist masters she admires. She works with a full palette of bright colors to create scenes both joyful and uplifting. In her paintings, she enjoys capturing flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
Nataliia has pledged to contribute 1% of proceeds from Nataliia’s Loft to charitable organizations.
